Top 10 Extinct Animals That Will Be Brought Back
In today's world the science has developed so much that nothing seems to impossible. In this blog we are going to talk about top 10 animals which will be brought back in your life span and you will get to see those animals again. But will it be safe, well no one knows.
Extinction has become temporary now and now by the mean of Biological Engineering we can make any species to live again. For that the DNA of the extinct animal is collected and that is implanted in the most closely related animals and by mutation slowly it gets fully converted to that extinct animal. So here is the list guys.
Top 10 animals that will be brought back soon:-
10). DODO :-
You must have heard of the phrase "Dead as a dodo". So it is very clear that phrase is not just a phrase but it is totally true but it is soon going to ruin as it is soon going to become alive. They early resided in Mauritius but it get wiped out in 17th century. Its DNA will be implanted in its most closely related animal which is pigeon.
9).PASSENGER PIGEONS:-
These birds got wiped out millions of years ago due to commercial hunting. Humans hunted these birds for food and sport, sold their carcasses and profited from these birds. The last pigeon named Martha died in 1914 Their DNA which is still preserved now will be implanted in other pigeons.
8). THYLACINE:-
It was also known as Tasmanian Tiger, this Australian native animal become officially extinct in 1936. The last known Thylacine died in Captivity. This animal despite its threatening name it was no threat to humans. Its DNA is still preserved and it will be implanted in raccoons.
7).PYRENEAN IBEX:-
This mountain goat was also known as Bucardo. It used to live in Spanish mountains before becoming extinct in 2000 due to hunting and gradual destruction of natural habitat. Its DNA will be implanted in goat and this was actually done before but nothing happens. This will be done again.
6).MOA:-
Moa became extinct many years ago. They used to live in New Zealand but as human came there, they hunted all the nine species of Moa. They had long legs and they were about 12 feet. Its feather were used for clothing and its bones were used for making jewellery. Their DNA has been collected will be implanted soon.
5).GASTRIC BROODING FROG:-
This was a special type of frog which stores it tadpole in its mouth and after some days they come out of mouth of the mother frog and this process continues. Last frog died in Queensland circa 1983. Its Dna is now planned to be implanted in other frogs for these species to become alive again.
4).AUROCHS:-
Aurochs was cow like animal which become extinct in 1627. After losing their natural habitat and due to excessive hunting it became extinct.Their descendants are still closely related in terms of DNA structure, which makes aurochs one of the top candidates for de-extinction right now.
3).IRISH ELK:-
Irish elk was a giant deer about 2 metres high and its antlers was about 4.2 metres. Now its DNA is going to be implanted fallow deer which is very common in England and Ireland. They’re now mapping the DNA from a 13000 years old fossil for bringing them back.
2). WOOLLY MAMMOTH:-
Woolly mammoth is most known animal which is now extinct but you won't believe scientists are planning to to make it alive again. This can be done by implanting its DNA on elephant. Slowly it can turn into Mammoth. Scientist say that this will be very beneficial for nature.
1).SABER TOOTHED CATS:-
Saber toothed cats are one of the most popular extinct animals. Its average life was 12 years. It lived in north and south America and became extinct due to natural changes. Now scientist are planning to again bring them back to life by implanting their DNA to predatory cats.
